COLUMBIA, Mo. - The United States Department of Agriculture is helping out Maryville.
USDA Public Information Officer in Missouri Lindsay Cheek told KXCV/KRNW that they will be assisting with the purchase a new aerial ladder fire truck for the Maryville Fire Department.
The Maryville Betterment Corporation will use a $640,000 loan, and the $660,000 grant through the USDA's Community Facilities Direct Loan and Grant program, to purchase the new truck.KXCV-KRNW
